Kentucky is making its 4th straight trip to a bowl game for the first time in school history. Kentucky won the previous three bowl games including a win over Clemson in the 2006 Music City Bowl. Three of Clemson's five losses came against teams who were ranked when they played. Two of those losses were to then top three teams. Kentucky was on a three game win streak headed into their final regular season game as they looked to end their losing streak to Tennessee, but they fell by six in overtime. Rich Brooks has done a wonderful job with Kentucky .

Dabo Swinney's first year at Clemson had its ups and its downs. They started the season just 2-3 before turning on the jets led by CJ Spiller and winning six consecutive games to clinch a spot in the ACC Championship game. They suffered a bad loss to rival South Carolina in the final weekend of the regular season, but that didn't derail their BCS hopes. They could still head to the Orange Bowl with a win over Georgia Tech. Clemson fell just short in the ACC title game and went from the Orange Bowl to the Music City Bowl. Clemson will look to garner its ninth win of the season....
