Cleveland Browns Forum  > Cleveland Browns Forum Message Board  > Mangini - Will Holmgren keep him?
December 31, 2009, 04:58 AM
I wanted to get your take on the Mangini situation:

1. How much will a win against the Jaguars help Mangini's cause?

2. Will Holmgren keep Mangini for one year so that a) He has an excuse for a dismal season next year, and b) so he can step into the coaching position to replace Mangini after next season?

As to question #2, I find it interesting how Holmgren kept the possibility open that he could coach the Browns down the road, just not next season. If you think he will coach the Browns eventually, is this a good or bad thing? There seem to be mixed reviews of his coaching prowess.
