MMA  > Fight Club  > What does Sherk's win at UFC 90 mean for him?
October 25, 2008, 11:23 PM
It was all but guaranteed that Sean Sherk vs. Tyson Griffin would go all the way. And while most acknowledged the fight would be competitive, Griffin was the one who was favored to get the judges' nod.

But on Saturday, Sherk, who entered the fight off a title loss to B.J. Penn at UFC 84, was favored by all three judges. So where does this win put the former lightweight champ? Will he be offered another shot at the title soon? Or, more simply, where do you rank him among the current lightweights?
