It's so bad I am taking my better half to a freaking Circus de Soleil show, uugh. At least she'll stop talking to me for an hour or so, that is a bright side. TOP THAT MISERY.

The CFB offseason is so bad we finally get a playoff and they screwed it up BIG time.

This thread resurfacing is like a time capsule.

Back in Jan 2010 the Tiger Woods saga had been the lead sports story for weeks. That was BEFORE the conference realignment drama took over ... which made the next 2 offseasons even worse.

Yep, next year lets hope the scandal de jour in CFB is more like Tiger's and Miami's, with lots of **** and drugs. Far more fun than the PSU story. Although the ARK situation did liven up the offseason a bit-you can't ever really go wrong with cheaters, decent looking chicks, and too much horsepower.

Prediction: next year's drama will revolve around the "Death of the BCS" ... since the BCS contract expires after this season, and the journalists will ride that pony as far as they can.

Unfortunately for the players and teams involved, the BCS Championship Game will be marginalized as a "lame duck" event and the "what if" scenarios regarding which teams "would have" been selected in a 4 team playoff will be thrown around for months. Mandel and Staples have to make a living you know.

Must be tough on you Grue. The whole Sandusky scandel , the firing and eventual death of Joe Pa is a sad state of affairs. Sandusky took the spotlight off of Miami but I still have no Idea where thats headed. Hang in there.
