I keep going back and forth on Plaxico. I am not sure if I should defend him in coversation with other Giants fans when his character is attacked....

It seems like he is one of those rare breed of athlete who operates on there terms at all costs. The last athlete like this for the Giants was the great Lawrence Taylor- the real LT- who was under Parcells. Parcells let him do his thing, because he knew come Sunday what he was going to get.

Coughlin however will not let Burress do his own thing. Do you think this is the wrong approach for Coughlin and the Giants?
