DeAngelo Willimas is managing to stay healthy, so I'll have to go with him.
Depends if the defense is better inside or on the bounce out. For straight downhill stewart is the man, if you want explosive outside runs, go with williams
I say Stewart, he is young and showing a lot of potential. He has the power to get through the D-Line and the break away speed to burn the secondary.

If yardage is more important to your scoring than TD's, go with Williams for sure. If your league values TD's more highly, like the Yahoo/TD derby, it's more of a tossup.
Hey I couldn't make a call like that they are a complete package for our panther team so Im just going to say you can't have one without the other
DeAngelo. He is better at spotting the wholes and still manages to turn a whole lot of east and west (aka outside runs) into big gains. Stewart won't be a stinker though. HIs combination strength and speed is obviously making an impact.
SafetyBlitz, I don't know if you know this but Williams leads the NFL in all-purpose touch downs.
Williams becuase he is faster and better at finding holes but Stewart is more likely to carry a player at his feet and pick up the extra yards when given a chance.
Both fit John Fox's style of running very well.
D-Will today, J-Stew in about two years. J-Stew will be better suited to take the punishment of more carries over time.

williams is better because he is leading NFL in all purpose touchdowns and is in the top 5 in rushing yards
They are both awesome to watch, but D-Will is having a career year....Panthers would not be where they are without both of them.....
I would have to say Williams. He is the front runner before Stewart. I wonder why the Panthers even chose Stewart. Did they think he was a bust.

Keep them both .... you cant win in the NFL without multiple backs anymore.
isnt the reason they are both doing so well because of the tandem? I think seperating them, neither would be doing as well as they did this year. Same with when Foster was there. Thats a little harsh, but I think you know what im getting at. Mixing power and speed is a good mix, when you only have one, the defense will recognize the scheme.
Thing about all the others that may show problems next year.
Giants
Jacksonville
Miami
Jets
Raiders
Saints
Falcons
Chargers
Tampa Bay
All have a good 1-2.. but free agency changes everything.
