NFL  > Atlanta Falcons  > Vicktimized?
October 28, 2008, 03:34 PM
Mike Vick- yes I dare say his name- will be out of prison most likely at some point in 2009.

Does the front office bother giving him even a sniff of a second chance?
November 5, 2008  03:46 PM ET

The only sniff he'll get is from the dog making sure he's not holding drugs, when or if he comes to get his legal $h*t done with the Falcons. And yes, he is dumb enough to do that. He'll end up in a crack house in VA with his low-life brother before it's over. What a scum-bag.

November 5, 2008  06:50 PM ET

Nope. Dude is done in Atlanta. Life with Matt Ryan is so sweet, they would never want that nightmare back.

November 5, 2008  10:39 PM ET

I don't think he'll get a ban from the NFL(He missed 2 seasons as it is.) He'll get traded out of Atlanta or cut out right. I could see a handful of team inquiring about his services(Oakland, Seattle, keep in mind Jim Mora will be head coach for the Seahawks next year, and he's got an absolute man-crush on Michael Vick.)

November 6, 2008  09:42 AM ET

He won't be back in Atlanta, there is no way. If he comes back I'd suspect that he'll be so highly scrutinized that if he screws up at all he's done. There would be the normal teams that recruit on release day at the prison that might give Vick a 1 or 2 year deal, but I'd seriously doubt his career is going to be anything like we all thought it might be.

November 6, 2008  11:06 AM ET

He absolutely could end up with Mora(n) in Seattle. Let's just hope Goodell keeps him out another year

November 6, 2008  11:12 AM ET

Altho it doesnt make much logistical sense, it would be funny if he ended up in Dallas or Cincinnatti.

November 7, 2008  09:04 AM ET

Let the piece of S*#@! go play in Europe.... Hopefully Goodell has big enough STONES to kick him out of the N.F.L. for good.

November 7, 2008  11:21 AM ET

Whatever team hes goes on I cant wait for it to get made for a fool. Talk about news...

Hes a has been.

Are you kidding me? Apparently you have never been to Seattle. Seattlites LIVE and LOVE to protest. Mora and Vick didnt work out in ATL so that would never happen in Seattle. Especially if the Hawks can somehow win the Tim Tebow lottery in the Draft this spring.

December 14, 2008  11:52 PM ET

Vick will definitely be back, no doubt about that. He was the most electrifying player in the league before this happened, and he's going to be back with a vengence to prove all his doubters wrong. My guess, he'll go to a team like Detroit or Oakland, take them to the playoffs by 2010, and once again bank $10million paychecks. If there's one thing we should all have figured out by now, is that the public has very short memories. Remember when Kobe Bryant raped a girl? How about when Ray Lewis killed a man? Yeah, seems like forever ago, and both of those guys are back to selling out stadiums, just like Vick will do again, too...

You guys suck a year to early then. Tebow isn't leaving school

Both of those guys accutually performed on the field though. If Vick comes back it will be in a kind of role that Kordell Stewart played for Pittsburgh before he became the QB. Him coming back is still a bit premature though.

i honestly think he should be allowed back into the league. he's paid his debt to society, there are others in the league who should be banned for life for their acts who havent been. people really crack me up how they love to pile on vick.

December 15, 2008  08:42 AM ET

I'll bet your name is Marcus Vick. Arthur Blank should keep Vick.......and use him for things like cleaning the locker room after the REAL players have left, washing jock straps, shining shoes....you know, the really important things the team needs....

December 15, 2008  07:11 PM ET

Why is this LOW-LIFE BAS&%$# still even a topic of conversation? He embarrased the Falcons and the whole State of Georgia. He's a lying piece of trash that got off easy with what he did to defenseless animals. Let the SCUM die and rot in hell with the rest of "HIS" kind.

December 15, 2008  08:56 PM ET

He wants Vick to die and rot in hell for dog fightin is it that serious. Don't get me wrong be the public figure that he was he shouldn't have associated himself with that type of stuff but, saying he needs to die and all that is a bit over the top

December 15, 2008  09:14 PM ET

I think Vick will be back, but not as a quarterback....unless he goes to Seattle.I've been a win or lose season ticket holding fan of the falcons since the early '70's, and I have thought he should'nt be at the helm from his 2nd season on. His talent is in his legs, not his head. He just can't adapt....Mora let him try to learn just some of the west coast offense, but he did'nt have sucess at that , and I think if he tries to learn any offense under any one other than Mora, he will only go downhill week after week....plus he's not known as an accurate passer anyhow.

April 24, 2009  01:07 PM ET

I'm just glad Vick screwed up with the Falcons on his own. Arthur Blank was so in love with this guy he would have watched the guy pertform poorly for years before deciding to go a different route, but what do you do when you give an unproved QB a ten year contract. Some players want to win rings or be great. Some just do enough to get paid and become basically a retired player. I think it is obvious which catergory Vick falls in to.

Michael vick doesn't deserve a second chance at S#@&. He is low life scum. Him and everybody he's tied in with are no better than an Amoeba.
