The Bills extended Jauron's contract through the 2011 season. How important has the coach been to Buffalo's turnaround?
October 28, 2008  02:33 PM ET

Jauron has made a great impact on this team, but lets not forget the great draft job that Marv Levy and the front office (Russel Branden) did before Levy's exit. Edwards, Lynch & Posluszny are HUGE factors in the emergence of the Bills this season. I like Hardy to be a big factor in years to come as well. Jaroun seems to be able to be able to teach this very young team how to win and I think its a year or two away from really making a serious superbowl run. Great decision by Ralph to give Jauron the extension. The old man may not be as out of the loop as once thought.

The Bills got to lock this guy down. Even last year I was impressed with the job he did. He lost a couple of heartbreakers, but he always seems to have these guys in position to win even when they don't.

Anyone still believe Jauron is the answer. I believe they have lost the first four games since his extension. WTG Dick, you earned your extension.

yeah you got it! Now is NOT the time to change coaches, look no further than San Diego.
All that talent gone to waste.
For the Bills, It was a tough loss to the Browns but hang on, things will get better in a year or two. Don't be another San Diego dudd.

Jauron is waaaaay too conservative of a coach to be in Buffalo. The Bills have been playing not to lose instead of playing to win...and it's showed. In my opinion, it starts from the top as well. How do you play your biggest home game of the year in Toronto? ****? Instead of playing Miami at home in the frigid tundra of Buffalo...a game we've dominated over the years, we technically lose a home game AND play indoors! Did you see how many Dolphin fans were there?! It's just plain stupidity. And now we miss the playoffs AGAIN! I'm done, being a Bills fan is bad for your health.

December 16, 2008  04:39 PM ET

Emergence? They're not even a .500 team!

December 16, 2008  09:07 PM ET

This is Jauron's third year - what has he done??? Has the Bills' record steadily improved???

December 17, 2008  05:09 PM ET

Buffalo will never make the playoffs with Jauron as coach. Another HORRIBLE call late in the game to seal Buffalo's fate. We've now become the laughing stock of the NFL, well, next to Detroit. Who the hell throws the ball when you're up by 3 with 2minutes to go?....ESSPECIALLY WHEN YOU'VE BEEN RUNNING THE BALL DOWN THE JET'S THROATS ALL DAY!!!! Just plain stupidity. Why hasn't he been fired yet?

Absolutely Insane....That's all I need to say

We need new life in Buffalo, Jauron is taking us nowhere. Please read the petition below and sign if you want to let the organization know how fed up we are and that it's time they spent money and tried to win. Jauron gets paid a kickers salary for a reason!!

I am one of the biggest bills fans you will ever come across. I just purchased season tickets for the 2009-2010 season with 2 other bills fanatics. We would have never bought the tickets knowing about the Jauron extension. I figured that the extension was a rumor due to a 5-1 start, of course you want to keep your coach with that record. Now we sit at the bottom of the AFC east and not a single win in the division. What the **** happened. How is it that all the fans see that Jauron is an Ivy League moron and Ralph can't see it. I know he is old but he should have placed smarter people around him. Let's take a look at Jauron's Coaching record. 20-26 with Buffalo and 56-74 overall and this is over 9 seasons. Does this sound like a coach you want leading your team? This record even comes after a 13-3 failed season with the Bears. If you ask me this a good season for Jauron. I am sure in his eyes he has turned the buffalo franchise around. Well that fact of the matter is, I could have done a better job coaching this team with with a 15 beer buzz. What do you have to say about the DICK Jauron. FAIL. On a side note anyone think jauron is actually stupid enough to sign JP Losman again? With his strong butt love for JP I wouldn't be surprised if they offered him a huge contract. I still can't believe you let JP throw the ball when you have the lead with 2 mins in the game. Especially after Marshawn Lynch and Freddie Jack have been running all over the jets like they had horns coming out of their helmets and steam coming out of the nostrils, they are true buffalonians. BEAST-MODE!!!!!!! Forget the other guys petition. Only 14 signers. Sign this FIRE JAURON petition. As of this post there are 109 signatures.

Dick Jauron is the greatest coach ever and he will do an even better job when the Bills move to Toronto!

December 20, 2008  08:39 PM ET

i had really high hopes during the bills hot start this season, and being a bills fan in north jersey, you get a lot of sht from giant and jet fans. i was just starting to buy into trent edwards as a decent qb until he got the concussion. after that, he seemed to lose his field vision and would only check down and dump off to a rb. playing in the dome automatically shifted the advantage to the dolphins, another bad idea. i was at the jets game and i was just getting the '**** are you doing??' out of my mouth losman is chased and fumbles away the game. that is simply poor game management, and that falls on **** jauron's head.

i'm resigned to the fact that the bills are the red-headed step child of ny football. love em anyway, but boy are they making it difficult to do so...

Turn around? What turn around? Jauron is so emotionless on the sidelines. Might as well put a freakin' statue out there. Still love the Bills though.

April 21, 2009  11:45 PM ET

It looks to me like you need a QB and another top receiver. Look at Edwards stats, all those int's, TO will have him for lunch.

What you need to do is trade both of your #1 picks to Cleveland for Brady Quinn & Braylon Edwards.

April 29, 2009  12:50 PM ET

T.O. will rescue you...................maybe. But, you gotta show him the love........

Good luck with that.

What turnaround? Jauron has been/is a horriable coach. He got the extension because he's cheap and the Willson family's not going to ever make any serious investment in the franchise. When Ralph passes away so will the Bills....sorry to say
