NHL  > General NHL  > Should Ovechkin's disallowed goal in MTL on wed FEB 10th have counted?
February 12, 2010, 01:31 AM
I am just curious to see how many people think the league officials blew this call. I personally do just because of the simple fact that there was no interference call made on the play when the puck was put into the net, and play was not blown dead. The ref on the ice behind the net signaled a goal right away. If they wanted to rule that the puck was put in the net as a result of interference, then there should have been a penalty called as well as the goal being disallowed.
