NCAAF  > North Carolina Tar Heels  > Pre-Spring Practice look at the 2010 Tar Heels
February 21, 2010, 01:51 AM
8 of 11 starters return on defense. Ranked 6th best defensive team last year and possibly the most talented along with most experienced defense returning in the nation from last year. We return all juniors on both sides of the ball. And we bring in a pretty decent recruiting class that was ranked 21st by rivals. Coach Davis finally has recruited a Running Back for the first time since he has been in Chapel Hill. So does the 2010 version of the football Tar Heels have enough of defensive fire power and talent to make a run at an ACC Football Championship?
Even with the toughest schedule in the ACC.

3 GOALS FOR 2010 TARHEELS:
1) BEAT LSU IN CHICK-FIL-A KICKOFF GAME
2) WIN THE ACC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
3) WIN THE BCS FEDEX ORANGE BOWL

Are these goals unreasonable? Or do the Heels have a shot to complete all of these goals?
