Who do you think has a better fan base in Tampa Bay: the Bucs or the Rays?

Bucs by far. How many times did Rays games sell out before the end of the season? That is if they started selling out then which I am assuming.

Duh! Bucs by a landslide! Love the Rays and I live less than 10 minutes from the spring training facility, but, I've been a Bucs fan since 1974... when the NFL awarded the Culverhouse family the franchise. Most people forget that the Bucs almost made it to the Super Bowl in their 4th season - they lost to the LA Rams who went on the lost to Pittsburgh in the 1980 Super Bowl.

The Bucs have a huge fan base that the Rays can only hope to gain. Love them both, but the Bucs win this one hands down.

The NFL is a $27.6 billion franchise. MLB is just over half that, at $14.1 billion. The poorest NFL team is the Minnesota Vikings, with a total value of $839 million. The second richest MLB team is the New York Nets, with a value of $824 million, $15 million less than the poorest NFL team. (All figures taken from forbes.com). NFL teams have more support across the board hands down in terms of attendance, merchandise sales, and fan base.
