Want something fun and rewarding to do with your group? Become a team and take part in winter???s craziest, most popular event ??? Plungapalooza ???09!

On Saturday, January 24th 2009, the Maryland State Police and Special Olympics Maryland will host Plungapalooza ???09 featuring the MSP Polar Bear Plunge XIII at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, Maryland. The MSP Polar Bear Plunge is the single largest non-profit fundraiser in Maryland, turning Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis into THE PLACE TO BE in January. Join us for an expanded festival, multiple Plunges, the crowning of Miss Polar Bear Plunge, great live entertainment and food, vendors, a ???kids zone???, and tons of celebrity guests. Hosting an expected crowd of 20,000 participants and spectators, this is one event you don???t want to miss! All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Maryland, and will help to provide year round free sports training and athletic competition for over 10,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Form a Polar Bear Plunge team is easy! You can register your Polar Plunge team with a click of a mouse at www.plungemd.com; then use the simple online fundraising program to create your own personal team web page and solicit donations from friends and family members. You can manage the process right from your computer. Once a team is registered, it is easy for anyone else to join your team at any time. Everyone is welcome and there is no better way to provide your group with positive PR and have fun than the by forming a Polar bear Plunge team.
