NBA  > New York Knicks  > Please fire Mike D'antoni
March 7, 2010, 02:12 AM
Sorry guys, I know your tired of reading me post this. But come on! This guy doesn't give a damn about the Knicks. You can see it on his face, in what he says, in his demeaner when he breaks from a time out. He's garbage. If your gonna get a new team, get a new coach to go with the new team.

A coach that actually cares about the Knicks. A coach who cares about the history of NY basketball more than the euro league. A coach that knows how to adjust to the players he has and not one that just ignores the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Watching the Knicks get blown out by the Nets has been the absolute low point. This guy can't coach. Watching that game should tell you that.

So forgive me, but as long as this scrub is sitting on the bench waiting to get fired so he can collect a severance package, I'm gonna post this. Maybe we can sign a petition. Maybe it should be illegal to throw games because your coach is a moron. Something must be done.

The problem with Dantoni in Phoenix, and the biggest complaint from the fans, was that he didn't play and never developed his bench. He has a 6 or 7 man rotation. Since he's left, Gentry has developed the bench.
Not sure what Dantoni does now since I'm in Phoenix and he's in NY but if he didn't learn his lesson in Phoenix the Knicks (even with Amar'e) are doomed to the same fate as Phoenix while Dantoni was here. Running out of gas in the playoffs because his starters will be burned out.
