MARCH 16 UPDATE: Just got word from a very reliable source that if both Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy are available, the Buccaneers are taking Suh. McCoy is the safer pick, but Tampa's front office is in love with Suh.

#35 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
The Buccaneers have to find some help at defensive end; they had just 28 sacks on the year, led by Stylez G. White's 6.5.

Carlos Dunlap is a lazy player who has never lived up to his potential. However, the potential is there, making this an upside/value pick in Round 2.


#42 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU
Antonio Bryant signed with the Bengals, so the Buccaneers will be looking for a No. 1 receiver for Josh Freeman.

Some Tampa fans may be opposed to another LSU wideout, but just because two prospects went to the same school doesn't mean that they're going to be similar NFL players. Think Kyle Boller-Aaron Rodgers, Carson Palmer-Matt Leinart, Curtis Enis-Larry Johnson, Andre Johnson-Sinorice Moss, etc.

#67 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Chris Cook, CB, Virginia
The Buccaneers are really hurting for corner help across from Aqib Talib. At 6-2, 212, Cook ran a 4.43 at the Combine, which means that if Tampa Bay drafts him, Al Davis will be sad that he let a great player slip away.

#98 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kyle Calloway, OT, Iowa
Jeremy Trueblood had a horrific 2009 campaign, allowing six sacks and getting called for 12 penalties. He was given a second-round tender, but the Buccaneers will need to add some competition for him this April.



Not many guys on that list that isnt worth looking into!
