NCAAB  > General NCAAB  > National Title in own backyard?
March 27, 2010, 11:20 PM
Butler has the home crowd in Indianapolis for their first ever trip to the Final Four and in their own backyard. What are the chances that they win a title? When you are 6.0 miles, 19 minutes, and 1 turn away from Lucas Oil Stadium and 2 roads away how great is it having your home crowd behind you? Last year in Detroit Michigan State was 90 miles away from their home floor and had 65,000 people packed in Ford Field but it didn't matter as Carolina demonstrated that the crowd doesn't play the game. But could the Butler crowd have an influence being just 6 miles away?
