I got to hand it to Jerry Jones and company!

They did themselves a favor by unloading Flozell Adams and Ken Hamlin.

By cutting them NOW, during the uncapped year, they saved themselves over $11million in real money and about the same in cap money over the next 2 seasons.

Just like when Dallas cut Greg Ellis, they knew what they had in Anthony Spencer.

Same for trading Anthony Henry and promoting Mike Jenkins.

Ditto for TO and Miles Austin then blows up!

Now Doug Free will play the left side and of course Alan Ball will be the "penciled" in starter at Saftey.

This means in the NFL Draft, Dallas will almost guaranteed be going to draft a Saftey and Lineman or both in the early rounds.

While Adams could have played one more season in Dallas...paying him $6million this season to possibly be a backup was not going to happen.

Ken Hamlin never played well as our Free Saftey and this is no arguing that.

Overall, these are solid plays by the team brass....kudos!
