MLB  > Detroit Tigers  > Johnny Damon
April 4, 2010, 04:33 PM
In SI's baseball preview, their player to watch for the Tigers was Johnny Damon. The magazine noted that in three seasons, based on average production per season, Damon can become the first player ever to have 3,000 hits, 500 doubles, 100 triples, 250 homers, and 400 stolen bases!

He needs 575 hits, 49 doubles, 5 triples, 43 home runs, and 26 steals.

I've never that of Damon as a HOF type player, but if he accomplishes this feat is he HOF worthy?
