There were a number of great fighters and shocking endings at WEC 36 on Wednesday. Who, or what, surprised you most? Was it Mike Brown? Paulo Filho missing weight? Leonard Garcia?

1a) Leonard KO'ing Pulver. I respect Leonard very much. That Huerta fight was awesome. And I fully expected him to win...just not that fast.

1b) Paulo Filho....what can I say. Who was he talking to? Where's the Paulo from Pride? No way he's the #2 Middleweight.

1c) Urijah losing via TKO. Wow. I know this is fighting any anyone can get caught, but damn. Didn't see that coming. Would've been sweet to see that elbow land though.

I think they are all tied is WOW factor.

I think the biggest surprise was easily Faber losing. I could have seen Pulver or Filho losing before the fights started, but I would have never bet on Faber to lose. He has just looked so good.

I had a bad feeling about the Faber fight going in, thought Brown was unerrated. Gave him about a 40% chance to win so it was still an upset...

But what suprised me the most was the Filho fight. He didn't care that he couldn't make weight, or that was taking a title shot away from Sonnen, which stinks. Then he had no desire to fight. Just fall on his back or hit Sonnens fists with his face. He deserved a worse beating for his actions, but Sonnen smartly stuck to his gameplan. Sonnen deserved to leave the WEC as champion. Chump moves by Filho.

Filho saying he didn't really care that he didn't make weight because he'd already fought Sonnen. I was pissed when I saw that. He ripped off that guy. Filho should retire. Or be banned and have his belt stripped.

Filho is garbage in my books.

I know there folding the WEC upper divisions but he needs an Astrix by his name.
