What an outstanding game for the Home Opener today. It was great to see the Cardinal Hall of Famers brought out, as well as several members of the 1985 World Series team. It was great to see Todd Worrell, Ken Dayley, Ozzie, etc.

The real beauty of the day though came on the field, though. Waino threw an absolute gem, Albert slammed a long 3 run homer, and even Jason Motte got through an inning. Just about as perfect a day of Cardinal baseball that you could ask for.

Nice to see Ludwick break out with a 4 for 4 day, too.

Hopefully, this is the start of a great home season for the Birds.
