MLB  > New York Yankees  > Tex, why?
April 16, 2010, 02:39 PM
Tex is a great hitter, and if not for the fielding shift, he would probably have an extra 6 or so hits this year. How to solve this problem? Its easy and I do not understand why this has not occured. Learn to slap the ball to the left side of the field! Problem solved. Easy double on a slow ground ball to left field. They will stop the shift very fast if he would learn this simple tecnique. Then he can get back to pulling line drive base hits. Does anyone else agree with this?
