MLB  > Atlanta Braves  > Heyward does it again!
April 21, 2010, 10:58 AM
One thing that has been lacking since the Braves run of NL East titles...late inning magic. It has seemed that for the last few years the late inning magic at Braves games consisted of Bob Wickman or Mike Gonzalez blowing a lead....If only Tim Hudson could throw 150 pitches and 9 innings every start...

Enter Jason Heyward.

Now I am not so naive to think that one player can win every game in walk off fashion, but there seems to be a little more excitement in the clubhouse this year due to the young phenom in right field.

-The rookie's first major league at bat - HR
-Sunday against the Rockies -walk off 2RBI single
-Last night against the rival Phillies - game tying, bottom of ninth, 2 out, 2 strike HR

The hype is real folks. This guy is going to be better than we all expected. I am just frusterated that i didnt get him on any fantasy teams, especially keeper leagues.
