Henderson was released Monday by the Jags and is visiting the Chiefs Wednesday. He stands at 6'7, 335 pounds and is 31 years old. The Chiefs run the 3-4 defense and would like for him to play the nose tackle position between former top 5 draft picks, Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson. The Falcons, Jets, Giants and Browns are among the teams that are rumored to be interested.

Henderson said that he'd like to take his time, but the Chiefs will likely waste little time offering this guy a big contract in an uncapped year. He'd fill a huge gap in the team's run defense, would provide leadership to the two young linemen and could give the linebackers time to get the ball. The word on the street is that Jacksonville was shopping Henderson and the Chiefs knew that he would become available on Monday. This would explain why they did not draft a nose-tackle.
