MLB  > General MLB  > Bud Selig: Where Does Baseball Stand On The Arizona Immigration Law?
May 3, 2010, 07:50 PM
Is that a fair question ask?

Should baseball get involved in a discussion about immigration?

I think those questions will be answered along a line I hate to use, the race line or the race card, whatever is your preference.

This subject will unfortunately divide folks along racial lines.

Just about everyone agrees that illegal immigration is a big problem and that a solution needs to be found sooner rather than later.

So I would assume most of the opposition with the Arizona legislation is not against what is trying to accomplish but is about the way they???re going about it.
