May 7, 2010, 08:46 AM
When Matt Cooke knocked out Marc Savard, who knew how much of a hero he would become:

Marc Savard finally returned for the Bruins and is playing in the Stanley Cup playoffs, however with his return so did a frightening habit.

During a scuffle with Philadelphia Flyers Daniel Carcillo, Savard tried to eat the 25 year old left winger from King City Onterio. Luckily, the scrum was broken up just as Savard was attempting to remove Carcillo's finger with his teeth.

By all calculations, Matt Cooke may have saved 5-12 other hockey players from ulimately becoming Savard Poop, when he knock Savard out for a few weeks;

Rumor has it, that NHL is considering giving Matt Cooke a special honor and or humanitarian award and COOKE may be recognized for saving the NHL as a whole.

Investigators are looking into a lead that Sevard is related to Jeffrey Dahmer and Anthony Hopkins you know, the guy who played Hannibal Lecter.

Great job Matt Cooke!
No Chiantiand fava beans for you Marc Savard!
