vThis series is going to come down to several factors that decide this: versatility. Artest can guard anyone on the inside, Kobe anyone on the inside, the Celtics have a ton of options all over the floor, none are the hammer that Odem is- and I think the more Odem plays in games 1-3, the harder it will be on the Celtics front line games 6&7. There is no real advantage in experience- other than Ron-Ron, the major players have been there, and the vast majority have rings already.

Past the matchups? I'm looking at Explodability.

Kobe, obviously, Gasol? Maybe, Ron-Ron? Doubt it against the Celtics, Bynum/Fisher/Odem/anyone else? No.

Who can blowup for 30 points on the Celtics?

KG, yes- and I'd put money on it, Ray? Has to, Paul Pierce can, Rondo? Doubt it, but he has, Perkins/anyone else- no, unless Finley bottled a 3-liter of the fountain of youth.

But watch Nate Robinson- he has the potential to pop a bucket every minute he is on the floor- no one on the Lakers can match him basket for basket in a running game- other than Kobe, who's better of course, but If Kobe is trying to match Nate, then someone on the Celtics bench is resting- hopefully KG if you are wearing green.
