Your right the Cowboys nor their fans don't get any respect on this site, but thats to be expected. The Cowboys are the Yankees of the NFL, you either love them or love to hate them. A point that must be made. The team that hosts the Super Bowl that season normally does not fair well during the season. The Cowboys start a brutal schedule with the Redskins and it goes on from there. Should Dallas not win their first game they may be under the gun for the rest of the season. Because the Skins will be better. Don't know how much better. But they will play to a better level this year. And speaking of offensive lines, should Dallas not be able to protect Tony he won't throw for another 4,000 this year. I'm not a Redskins fan. But since I live in MD/DC area I know a thing or two about them. Dallas has a big hype machine behind them. They must prove themselves like everyone else. Nothing has been won yet.

I think the Skins will be in control of the NFC east in a couple of seasons.
GM Bruce Alllen - HC Mike Shanahan - OC Kyle Shanahan and QB McD5.. WOW!
Mcnabb will finally have a real running game with the Shanahan's! Something he lacked in Philly. This will take the pressure off of him especially in the big games. Portis and Larry Johnsn will do fine with that zone blocking scheme.
McNabb went to NFC title games with guys like Freddie Jones and Pinkett..Mcnabb now has Devin Thomas, Santana Moss (in the slot), Bobby Wade and Joey Galloway. (Malcolm Kelly might be a bust and cut)The only thing the Skins lack is a true number 1 receiver but Thomas could pull it off or possibly a no name receiver out of the bunch could stand out... kinda like Miles Austin you know? (who still might be a one season wonder)
A new Skins O-line with bookend tackles in Trent Williams (This boy looks good!) and Jamaal Brown and a brand new zone blocking scheme. WOW!
Defensive Coordinator Jim Haslett with a new 3-4 defense. WOW!
The Cowboys have no O-line and no FG kicker. Dez Bryant is not going to be all that his rookie season (although he looks promising but maybe injury prone already). No O-line = mediocre running game also.
Defense looks good and will keep the boys in most the games. but the O-line is weak and pathetic and should have been addressed in the off season.
Your going to hate Jerrah your GM this year. Romo can buy some time in the pocket and his accuracy his really awesome (I hate to admit that but McNabb isn't too shabby in this category either) but Romo's going to get sacked and running around for his life most of the time this season and you really have no backup QB..Kitna with no O-line?..LOL
Skins have Grossman who was with Kyle Shanahan last season and know the offense well.
Pukes in for a loooong low scoring season!

ATF, you should try keeping your mouth shut and get your facts straight.You're an embarrassment to every REAL Cowboys fan here, not to mention FOOTBALL fans. I, for one, enjoy watching the Redskins, Eagles and Giants, as well as the Cowboys, and all other teams, even the Lions and Browns.
I ENJOY THE GAME!...Yes, I am a die hard Cowboys fan and have been for over 40 years, but I enjoy watching other teams play as well, or otherwise I'd have never seen Gale Sayers run for 6 touch's in a muddy, wet game, Barry Sanders do his thing on countless people, or Leroy Kelly running like he did. You continue limiting yourself like you're doing, you're going to miss out on some outstanding football. But, that's up to you.
I will NOT put down another team or their fans. You should try it....it works.
