Americas Team? That alone is Football Follie hot stuff. lol Three previews have no Saints being in the big show in February. PFWeekly, Athlons and Sporting News have the Aints failing to repeat. PFWeekly has them finishing in second behind the Falcons and Sporting News has them finishing in second place as well. All three pick Americas Team to win the division. Perrenial winners do those things.

They don't call them predictions for nothing, definition of prediction is: A forecast statement about the way things will happen in the future, often but not always based on experience or knowledge.

The Saints was last years Superbowl champs and you can't take that away from them, the chances they repeat are slim but even slimmer are the chances things will play out exactly as these prophets has them listed.

I married into the saints (her family is from from New Orleans) and, whether they repeat or not, you can never take that super bowl from them. I think the saints are looking better this year, as far as team strength, than they did last year at this same time.
I'd like to see Oakland turn around though.

Sorry Sorry for the repeat......

"Perrenial winners do those things."

Ha. The Saints have won just as many Super Bowls as the Cowboys have won playoff games in the last 13 years.

Well if Dallas and Tony play they did tonight against the Texans it's going to to a very long season.

Many people think that since they played well in December of last year that they will just be the automatic candidate for the SuperBowl since its in Dallas this year.

I think that both Dallas and New Orleans will play well this year but not good enough to make it.

I am a big Saints fan but I also like Dallas. I just think that Tony Romo is not the QB that will lead them all them all the all. Yes he has good numbers, but he has been known to choke in the big games. Yes Dallas did beat the Saints, but look at the Vikings game. Look at the game tonight. the did not look ready for the season at all.

Next week many 1st stringers will not play. This was ther last chance improve before the season starts. They looked like they were confused. I hope they straighten things out before the beginning of the season.

If not it will be a very long season.

Not getting "Respect?" From who, the so-called experts? Quite frankly, so what. There's not much, if any, respect in sports these days so what else is new? The Saints weren't given a shot at making the SB last year after losing their last three games headed into the playoffs. Certainly if we're expecting "respect" from fans of other teams we shouldn't hold our breath. I can scan through only a few dozen threads and maybe 2 or three of them have something intelligent to say, including those from my WhoDat Nation. So respect isn't something the Saints really care about right now. The focus is on Minnesota. Even after we win the game we're not receiving any "respect". I'm perfectly fine with that.
Plus, if we lose.... and I really don't want us to lose... but if we do then maybe some of those fair-weathered fans will go back to their gardens on Sundays and get the hell out of my living room! :)

You get respect, by earning it on the field...the fact that they won the Super Bowl deserves some respect, but if the Vikes don't have a zillion turnovers, I am positive that they would have been watching the game on TV with the rest of us.

Good luck against the Vikes...

How are those Predictions working out for you? The Saints may or may not return to the Superbowl there is to much football left to crown someone a champion especially before the season even begins, some fans could really have a slice of humble pie by the seasons end.
