2 years ago when Rory Fitzpatrick nearly made the all-star game as a starter was one of the funniest things that would have ever happened in a pro sports all-star game. A crappy journey-man defenseman would have started in the all-star game because the fans would have voted him in.

Well as a hockey fan i would like to try to make that happen again.

This time i would like to vote in Dmitri Kalinin of the New York Rangers.

Dmitri Kalinin absolutely sucks. In Buffalo he was actually an understudy to Rory Fitzpatrick. He always had "potential" but never actually contributed positively. I don't know what the Rangers saw when they signed him for money but watching him for years and years has been brutal to Sabres fans eyes. Always making bone-headed plays, giving up breakaways and softly passing the puck.

I give Kalinin 2 more years maximum in the NHL so lets start voting for this guy to make the All-Star game while we still can to have a good laugh at an opportunity the NHL gives us to vote anyone in to the starting lineup of their All-Star game.
