I just read that Dana White said the winner of the Florian-Stevenson fight will get the next title shot at 155. If Florian wins, he undoubtedly deserves to fight Penn for the belt.

But Stevenson? No F'n way. He got destroyed by Penn and has only fought once since that asswhoopin. Who the hell would want to see a Penn-Stevenson rematch? Certainly not me! He should have to prove himself WAY more than just winning one fight against Florian to earn ANOTHER shot at the title.

Way to go Kenny...now we won't have to worry about seeing BJ destroy Stevenson again. We'll get to watch him destroy you instead...although it could actually be a decent fight...but BJ will win...no doubt.

not gonna be for a while though, bj is fighting st pierrre next so this fight won't take place till late '09 anyway..... maybe ufc 100 at MSG?????

I think we are likely to see Sherk vs Florian first. Would be too long of a wait. Maybe they can get Kenny on the 94 card as well.

I don't think Florian should have to fight anyone else before the title shot. If Penn fights GSP in January, then Penn-Florian should happen late spring. Florian just should train for that and not worry about anything else. He has earned the title shot and shouldn't have to risk losing it by fighting yet another person.
