NBA  > General NBA  > Lakers 2010 PG Situation

This is a big mess.

1. Resign Fisher, which should be a problem

2. Let Farmar walk. He's been deemed the PG of the future for far to long. He's said he wants to go on to a different system and the Lakers need to give up on him being a starter for them

3. Bring back Brown. While this may not even be in the Lakers control, he can opt out. He has said he wants to come back, but if he leaves, they need him back. He's a fan favorite and gives the team tons of energy

4. Bring in someone else. They need more depth. A couple names thrown out: Steve Blake, Ray Felton, Luke Ridinour, Earl Watson. Of those, Blake is the best option as he does everything a Phil Jackson PG needs to do. Another name thrown out is Tony Allen, but I'm not sure that could work. But could you imagine a lineup with Allen, Kobe, and Ron? No perimeter player is scoring

What are some of your guys thoughts?

What about RayAllen? With him in the team, the Lakers could spread the floor better. Plus the Lakers need a consistent shooter, unlike Sasha "the brick machine" Vujacic

Ray and Bryant don't get along...a rivalry that has gone back almost their whole careers. This is Kobe's team, just don't see that happening...
