NBA  > New Jersey Nets  > How the Nets are going to look in the 2010-2011 season

I did a thread last year talking about how the nets were going to look during the 09-10 season. I was extremely optimistic and hopeful in how the season would play out. Well... My bad. That was definitly one of the worst records in the history of the league. The Nets were a quick win stop for teams all season long. But I am a loyal fan and optimistic toward this season once again. With a new owner, coach, and cap room, the nets have no where else to go but up. The new owner (Sorry I can not spell his name, but damn good) is a great up lift to the franchise. It seems already that he is set on making the nets a contender as soon as possible. Avery Johnson is the new head coach. He is a leader and a winner. There will be no arcument about who is the leader of this team, it will be Johnson. The the third pick in the draft, I am hoping that the Sixers are idiots and don't pick him and the Nets. If not, Favors or Cousins will be a fantastic pick to the team. The Nets also have loads of cap room. According to how the draft plays how will decide the free agents they go after. Players such as Bosh, Wade, and Lebron would be fantastic but are unlikley in my opinion. I think we will most likely get a guy like Amare Stoudimire or Rudy Gay. Personally I think anyboy will be great at this point. This las thing is the move to New Wark. This will give a new setting to the organization and the ultimate goal of Brooklyn will make the Nets look even better. In the end, the miserable 09-10 season by the Nets will be put in the past and I smell playoffs in the near future. Forget Boston vs. L.A., its going to be New Jersey vs... somebody. Go Nets!
