Well considering you choose to ignore all my arguments of meaning , and usually focus on certain verb choices I use to disect my entire posts , yes, thats about it for now.
I said that GSP fought Serra because there was nobody left. Wrong, and I showed you I.
You implied that Fedor hasn't fought as much as other fighters. I compared the amount of fights he has had, against the amount of fights GSP has been having, and proved you wrong.
On top of that, myself and Jim rationally came to the conclusion that, as of January of 2009, the only 2 Heavyweights in the world that could have been ranked #2 were either Arlovski or Frank Mir. Also proving you wrong (your "argument" was simply: "it's crock").
So I basically took apart everything you wrote.
QUOTE(#46):
He could care less about other promotions, why should he give two s hits about another promotion. Wake the F up, this isnt kindergarten anymore, its the real world chief. And for someone who knows so much about MMA you would know Dana has sent his best fighters out to other promotions to prove themselves, and how'd that work out? Oh yeah, Pride F'd them, and didnt reciprocate. Now, seriously, whos the dumb one?
Dana has sent his "second best" fighter over to the Pride GrandPrix. Yeah the Jaapanese Mob influenced pridefc. Not to Strikeforce with Larry Coker. And that was 7 years ago when Pride f'd him. get over it, your tampon is soaked go change it. A cross promotion with Fedor & Brock in it will still make a ton of loot. bottom line is he doesn't have the balls to send his fighter there and is to greedy.
As far as what if Carwin loses fast or not, theres alot you can say. it all depends on how it happens. I would drop carwin out of the top ten. and Brock would be #3 behind Overeem #1 and Fedor #2.
Power rankings aren't career rankings.
You're only as good as your last few fights when it comes to rankings - and your most recent fight counts for the most.
So even if Brock wins, I really don't think you still rank Fedor ahead of him.
Brock's last 3 (if he wins):
1. Win over Carwin (undefeated and ranked top 5 at time)
2. Brutal G&P out on Mir (ranked top 5 at time)
3. TKO over Randy
Fedors last 3:
1. Quick loss in 1st round to a guy who was barely Top 10
2. okay win against Fat Rogers (but looked nowhere as good as Overeem did)
3. Solid win over AA (top 5 at the time, but now winless in 3)
Anyway,
I hope there are people around on FN Sat night to follow the matches together.
I'm staying around town and working for the holiday weekend so I'll be home on Saturday night for the fights.
I am so excited for these fights. I am just going to watch the clock all day until its time for the fights...

your right Jim he doesn't need to Co-promote with anybody. And he can continue to put Brock up against anyone he wants and will still make money. Thats fine. If he's gonna keep blasting anyone who is not in the UFC as not good, or not top 10 material or overated then he's got to Put his money where his mouth is and show us how good his guys are otherwise ****. so cross promoting is not the answer then just send anyone of his guys who could beat Fedor or Overeem over to challenge them. Humiliate the Strikeforce promotion.
QUOTE(#55):
I would love to see overeem vs JDS or Cain
I would rather see Overeem vs the winner of Brock and carwin....
QUOTE(#58):
I would love to see Overeem sign with the UFC and fight anyone of them. Why not Overeem in the UFC? The dude says he wont fight in Dream anymore, he stated he wants to fight in the UFC. Is the K1 thing holding it up?
probably. you know Dana won't let him fight outside of the UFC, and Overeem makes a ton of money fighting K1
Well reguardless of who wins, I hope they accidently punch Dana in his grill while they do a fist pump.
