Hello all R8Rish here. A special shout out to Hammered still Sober and Ripper, ( Hows that AFL Championship Ring) Anyway Dennis Hopper, last year the King of Pop but Just win baby lives on.
Going to the All Star game tonight at Angel Stadium, went to the Lakers Victory Parade to kill time and try to make it to the NFL season. World Cup was OK but Soccer does not build Character. If any of you ever had pads on you know what I mean.
How about the Miami Heat trying to buy a Championship?
Will Farve Play this year?

Ripper, Donald Strickland & Nate Vasher will not get you a Lombardi trophy.
Cromartie, Manumaleuna, L.T. will be missed but letting go of Jamal Williams was foolish I think. Vincent Jackson wanted a new contract but now has an AA newcomer chip.
The Chargers should be 4-0 by the time Oct. 10 rolls around, Mabey this year the Zebras wont hand you the game by calling back touchdowns.
The Raiders have been in the gutter for the last 7 or 8 years. I am hoping for 7 games. Winning 7 games.
No hammered I have not been drinking.

Actually R8rish I think the Raiders will do good this year.
I always thought Jason Cambell was better than his numbers in Washington, now he gets a chance to prove it.
Bradkowski is as solid a backup as there is in the league.
Nnamdi Asomugha is a great player and very hungry to make the playoffs, he deserves to play in a game or 2 in January.
Richard Seymour could step up and if he does that will be huge.
They had a great draft, now sign them and get them to camp.

If they could just get rid of Al, put him in an old folks home with a gazillion inch HDTV and some sweet nurses. Then the team could go about doing business without worrying if you know who approves.

They took the first step by getting a real QB and hardest step by releasing JaMarcus Drank and eating a fortune in lost salary.

Denver and K.C. are huge question marks and S.D. is having problems signing key players, the west could be wide open for the Raiders to take.
I think the AFC west plays the NFC west this year so a 9 or 10 win season is not unthinkable.

George Steinbrenner has not made any public appearances for years including the opening of the new Yankee Stadium, so his mind probably died some time ago and his body gave up the ghost yesterday.

My guess is the same will happen with Al, the family will make people think all decisions are being made by him when in reality he's being spoon fed and is clueless as to what day of the week it is.

I watched my Mom go that way and it really sucks, we have compassion enough to put our pets to sleep but we as a society put Dr. Kervorkin in prison.
They say we cannot play God, but isn't that what all Doctors are doing by keeping Elderly people alive with drugs and machines? Against their will.

May Al live forever! Without him the Raiders could be dangerous. BS he hasn't been making the decisions, although this last draft does seem to smack of someone else. SD fans blaming refs for their problems. LOL! SD is their own worst enemy. They are fast becoming the king of the choke artists. They talk a big game after several years of finally winning but still haven't figured out how to get what really counts.....and they think Norv is going to do that for them. Lovin it! KC, alas, fast becoming the new Arizona Cardinals. Denver, is the biggest mystery, either a great turn around or quicksand. AFC West should be interesting.
