There are many questions about the Bears this year, is Cutler going to be the Pro Bowl QB we wanted when we traded for him or a complete bust. Is the O-line going to do their job? Are the recievers going to destroy the Bears record books this year or flop? Is Urlacher too old or on the verge of another Pro Bowl season? How will Peppers effect the Defense. Is anyone else going to make a difference on the DL? Can Tinoisomoa Pisa play more than one game with out getting injured? Will he make a difference for the LB ing corps? How many games will Nick Roach play? Can he fill two spots at once? Safetys and DB's where do we start here? Special teams, can Devin Hester be the Old Rediculus Devin? And then the Qusesions of the coaches, will Lovie allow the DB's to cover wr's on 3rd and long? Will Martz, Marinelli, or Tice be able to change the team if Lovie doesn't want to? This is just a partial list of questions the Bears have. Only the season will tell us if they have done anything or everything necissary to get us to the playoffs or beyond. Go BEARS!!!!

I'll be trying to make it to a couple days of camp, I gotta see how the offense is progressing as well as who lines up at L.G. (Beekman) unless Louis or Asiata can beat him out, if I was a guessing man. I also hear conflicting reports about the Fullback role under Martz, one has Olsen and Manumaleuna lining as the fullbacks. I can see Manumaleuna doing this but Olsen can't block his way out of a paper bag so??? I was wanting to see what Will Ta'ufo'ou could do out of the H-back position season for it was behind him Jahvid Best and Justin Forsett gained all their yards in college. I am skeptical about his use in Martzs system and am anxious to see how this plays out.

will this be lovie's last year with bears ?.........[if no playoffs] .
According to what Teddy Phillips said at last years meeting, yes. He pretty plainly said "One thing we???ve never had with coach Smith has been back-to-back losing years," Phillips said. "There???s a fine line sometimes between winning and losing, but we expect to win now in 2010."
Terrific job ripper. We try not to worry about simple little mistakes like Corps. etc so long as we can understand what is written and the basic point so don't worry about it. There was an interesting article on how Correy Graham has healed up his knees and seems to have his speed back enough to be a solid back up for our CB's. My statement about Nick Roach playing more than one position was meant to be about both outside linebacker spots if necissary. The fact that people mentioned SS was very interesting. I would love it if you expanded on this more. (Goal Line???) The only thing that really worries me about Martz is him eliminating the FB's on the team. I really hope that Will Ta'ufo'ou makes the team. If anyone remembers the coach/fullback conversation on Madden about the fullback saying I'll give you 2 yards you know what I mean. In certain situations a powerful runner is an incredible asset. Think back to how Don Shula used Czonka and you know where I'm coming from. Jarron Gilbert was mentioned interesting but nothing about Anderson or Correy Wootton or even Idonije's "transfer" to DE. Devin Hester "you are ridiculous" refers to his punt returning this year. Will he return to his dangerous intimidating capabilaties of years past where some teams refused to even punt to him? Ps. I know I spelled ridiculous right this time because I looked it up. Lol. Sounds silly considering what I just said to ripper but it was driving me crazy.

GSH 1,That sounds kinda vague too Me,What does that mean? 9-7 again?,I hope not,but there's alot of in betweens about what Teddy said.........................
It is hard to predict a whole season, injuries, weather, bad play, it's a long season...but if I were to make a prediction based on talent alone, the Bears would compete with the Vikings & Packers for the NFC North title this year...
I can not pick how many games the Bears will win, but I will put it in this range 8-11 Wins.
As far a Lovie Smith, he has just been out coached in too many games...Last year Philly, Atlanta, San Francisco...year before that Atlanta, Carolina...in this league you can not get out coached and lose games that you had in the bag. So if Lovie goes or stays will depend on their play.
To me it is a mute point, unless a new CBA is agreed to, there will be no football in 2011, the sides are so far apart that their seems to be no middle ground, and a lockout is immanent.

Agree totally B.G. the Packers open books should have shed a little light on the teams stance as far the C.B.A. with the Packers saying player salaries are rising at twice the rate that revenue is rising. This however opens a whole new can of worms and will be a topic of great debate both for and against the team/organizations and the players. As you mentioned they are so far apart I've both ways, a lockout from owners as well as a players strike, which tells you exactly how far apart it really is.
Go Bears, Peppers will make a huge impact on defense, i pray to see Major Wright putting big hit all over the field...Still have some questions about the offense. Mike Martz system will work with Cutler ?
On a side note the Bears Grabbed BYU Unga in the supplemental draft, they gave up a seventh round pick in 2011 for him.
The backfield just got even more clouded and crowded over what it already was and is confusing considering we heard about Manumaleuna and Olsen lining up at HB, the already crowded backfield of Forte, Taylor, Wolf and Bell back up R.B.'s, then add F.B's Ta'ufo'ou, Williams alongside back up T.E. Davis and Clark something has got to give.

BGD,For Me?,I was peeved on the way they lost too Frisco, when they had it in the bag!!! Of course the Bengals lost game #1 [with a freak interception in the last seconds of the game, with Denver]"Bummer"..
Eazy,
I am not a Bengal fan, but when I saw it happen live, my eyes almost fainted...it remined me of the Giants fumble in the Meadowlands against the Eagles....but the way the Bears lost to the Falcons two season ago tops it.
The Bears scored the go ahead touchdown with 11 seconds to go in the game, and the Falcons had no time outs...I was already on the phone talking mad trash to Falcon fans, and then they lost the game in regulation...Then I had a huge piece of humble pie.
