NBA  > General NBA  > Shaq what are you going to do?

Are you going to play for a mediocre team with more pay... get frustrated... fake an injury and off you go?

Are you going to convince one of the 5 frontrunners you can still do it, go out in the first or second round then call it a career?

Or, are you going to make your peace with "Rupaul" and Riles, GET that 5th ring, match Kobe who is probably done with rings and ride off into the sunset a happy man with a little less in your pocket?

Do you think Heat even wants him?

I concur

Unfortunately, this guy is a locker room cancer for his last three teams. Given his age, limited offensive moves, and inability to stay healthy, it's unlikely that ANY team wants him, even at the MLE.

The Lakers should get Shaq as their back up center for one season and then he should retire. No better place to retire than with a team you won 3 championships with. Yes, Kobe and Shaq had their differences back then, but that was back then. Things change and people change. Look at it this way, I don't see MBenga being a better back up compared to Shaq. Sure Shaq has to ride the pine, but at least its with a team thats going for a three-peat.

that is a good idea.
Shaq & Kobe is history. the fight was to see who was the alpha dog, and Shaq knows it is not him anymore.

he could go back to a system he knows well and he can still contribute to the team. would be a great finals against heat! awesome storyline!
