Other than re-signing V-Mart this off-season, I want to hear some input on who people think the Sox need the most. (Some free agents include Cliff Lee, Carl Crawford [my pick], and Jose Reyes)

I would like either or both of Crawford and Reyes. Lee is great but we made a big free agent pitching splash last year with Lackey and I'm not sure the need is there like it is for some of the fielding positions. Crawford will be tough to get as he looks to be on the Yankees radar, but he is everything this team needs in terms of defense and offense. Reyes would be nice but the Mets hold a team option on him so I'm not sure he will be available. He looked healthy this year but needs to improve his SB's and average to make it a good signing. As more free agents become available i will give my two cents on them.

Red Sox sayd they lost millions this year and will be cutting payroll so I am expecting the worse for next year.

I read a story that its not for sure they will re-sign Victor Martinez, maybe keeping Varitek...as far as pitching Cliff Lee is the one I'd chose, but Jose Reyes gets hurt alot......
