They will not.


I predict the offense will not improve and the pitching will cool off. San Diego will finish 3rd in the NL West.

Before the season began the media and professional sports people were telling us in San Diego that they would be a loosing team and would place last in the NL West. They were very suprised that the Padres were in first place and maintaining it.

As a Padres fan, I am waiting and watching to see what happens in the second half of the season. I for one, feel they will place first in their division!
