NFL  > General NFL  > Chiefs could win their division this year, no I have not been drinking.

The Chiefs have the Weis running the offense and Romeo Crennel running the defense and the schedule is in their favor (BigTime).

(They need to play way better than last year for the following to matter)

Face it they are totally off everyones radar, so there is no pressure or
expectations, they are 100 to 1 odds on winning the superbowl.

The AFC west plays the NFC west & AFC South this year.

The AFC play the Seahawks, Cardinals, 49ers & Rams and Colts, Titans, Jaguars & Texans.

AFC breakdown:

Chargers add Patriots (home) & Bengals (road).

Broncos add Jets (home) & Ravens (road).

Raiders add Dolphins (home) & Steelers (road)

Chiefs add Browns (home) & Bills (road)

That is pretty sweet advantage for the Chiefs

Chiefs last 3 games are
at the Rams
home vs Titans
home vs Raiders

Bottom line, they play the Raiders, Broncos & Chargers twice.
They could be 3-3 against the AFC west
add
Bills, Browns, 49ers, Seahawks, Cardinals, Texans
win the above games and that makes 9-3

Lose the rest and they finish 9-7.
They beat the Titans at home and they are 10-6.

San Diego has a tough road to finish better than 10-6 and with
disgruntled players making headlines that's never good.

I am putting $10 on them to win the superbowl.

How cool would it be to make that call, $1,000 cool.

Hammered,Smoking.shooting and snorting count in too?as I saw You put up another thread saying alot of different results,Not that I care cuz,I'm stuck with the Bengals...27-1 hell!! that's better than 30-1 !!!![no insult intended]

Your correct, I put up that they would not even win 6. Then I remembered they play the NFC west this year, arguably the worst division in the NFL
They should go 3-1 at least against the NFC West.

Everyone in their division plays the same 14 games, the 2 remaining can make a big difference.
Then they get the pasty games against the Bills & Browns as stated above.

Chargers add Patriots (home) & Bengals (road).

Broncos add Jets (home) & Ravens (road).

Raiders add Dolphins (home) & Steelers (road)

Chiefs add Browns (home) & Bills (road)

Then I thought they have Weis and Cronnel and look what they did in New England. then look at the Raiders, Chargers & Broncos, all have problems.
Whoever wins this division I bet they finish no better than 10-6 or 9-7.

I'm a Chiefs fan and I'm not sure I'd pick them to win the Big 12 North this year.

OK, a day has passed and it's looks as if I was out of my mind when I wrote this yesterday.

Think I'll write one today on how the Raiders will win something.

Charles 1500 rushing yards. Dont be suprised with a 9-7 finish and making wild card. Great coaches and ALOT of top draft picks on the team. Schedule is also a JOKE! Never hurts.

Gee my little thread makes sense. Except they are no longer flying under the radar, teams will now take them seriously.

Ain't that the truth.

They looked good the other night. This season is probably the most open season in a decade!

There are 2 undefeated teams going into tonights game, Bears need to win to stay undefeated. The Chiefs go to Indy next week undefeated suddenly the Colts look like they can be beat.

Still think I was crazy when I wrote this?

You are a genius!

Awe shucks not really, just saw a good coaching staff taking over a team with a lot of young talent and an incredibly soft schedule in a division that is not very good.

Charlie Weis may have bombed in South Bend but he knows how to coach a pro offense and has the SB rings to prove it.

San Diego's done this before. Frustrating early but comes on like gangbusters at the end. KC has to keep improving. Can happen but Chargers and Broncos won't make it easy on them

All true and well said. Chargers for some reason dig themselves a hole every year.

Strange days look at the NFC East every team is 2-2 except Dallas which is 1-2, assuming the Bears do not make a big comeback tonight.
Sell that to someone 6 weeks ago.
