NFL  > Oakland Raiders  > Raiders could win their division this year, or maybe not.

I find the Raiders this season to be the one team
that will really suprise everyone and play like a
winner (they are due) use all that talent they
have and play like a team.
This could be yet another 10 plus loss season in which
they currently own the record at 7 and counting.
They should be better, but you can say that about
most teams, the Bills maybe not.

I doubt there will be any middle ground, either they
are back to being a quality team or they will
continue to stink.

The really tough games on their schedule I put
in bold type.

at Tennessee 1:00 PM
St. Louis 4:05 PM
at Arizona 4:15 PM
Houston 4:05 PM
San Diego 4:15 PM
at San Francisco 4:05 PM
at Denver 4:15 PM
Seattle 4:15 PM
Kansas City 4:15 PM

[i]This is one brutal stretch of games
to finish the season, if they get through
these 7 games with 4 wins then
the Raiders of old are back[i]

at Pittsburgh 1:00 PM
Miami 4:05 PM
at San Diego 4:05 PM
at Jacksonville 1:00 PM
Denver 4:15 PM
Indianapolis 4:05 PM
at Kansas City 1:00 PM

Not a single night game, the former Kings of
Monday Night Football have really fallin.

As I've been saying, I'd be happy to see such a historic franchise pick themselves up and get a good playoff run.

They will surprise a lot of people. It is almost like they have been building around empty pieces for awhile and they now have some real cornerstones... well, one cornerstone and a vast improvement. I think Rolando McClain will make Oakland a feared defense and until they can get a real qb Campbell will do fine. I think Run-DMC is in a make or break year too. I don't know about the division though. San Diego is the king until they get dethroned and being a Denver fan I always see them having a chance. KC is building but isn't quite there yet... expect another top 10 pick.

The 10 loss streak will be broken this year, but the best outcome I can imagine is 8-8. I can't see SD imploding enough to not win the division.

The last 7 years have been awful and as a fan, I sincerely hope this is the year all of that changes.
