How is Steve Garvey not a Hall of Famer compared to Jim Rice and now, Andre Dawson.. This is a real joke...

Steve Garvey:
* 10?? All-Star selection (1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981,
1984, 1985) He was a write-in player when he won MVP in 1974!
* World Series champion (1981)
* 1207 consecutive games played
* 4?? Gold Glove Award winner (1974, 1975, 1976, 1977)
* 1974 NL MVP
* 2?? All-Star Game MVP (1974, 1978)
* 2?? NLCS MVP (1978, 1984)
* 1981 Roberto Clemente Award
* 1984 Lou Gehrig Memorial Award
* San Diego Padres #6 retired

He did more in his era than either of those clowns..

If you start down the road of "if THAT guy, then why not THIS guy?", you're in for a long day.

Personally, I don't think Rice and Dawson are HOF'ers either, but trying to compare other players to them is an exercise in futility.
