About as likely as Auburn being declared 2004 national champs.

Bush's only mistake was stiffing those agents for $300,000.
If he had paid up like all the other First-Round-Picks, if he had not cheated the cheaters, Bush would still be a Heiz Man.

So will this be your attitude about the now defunct 05 NC game when USC thrashed Big Lame Bob? What was that... 55-19?? At least Vince deserves it....
Stop it...I know it is painful, but it is over. Go to sleep, you will feel better in the am...I promise

Winning the Heisman by default, kinda cheap and meaningless dont you think ? Although his pro career has been as outstanding as ............Ryan Leafs.
Yep you sold me, pass the codine syrup.

What the heck? Why would Vince want that tainted thing.
I'm glad Reggie got stripped of it, don't get me wrong....yes I did jsut smile...
But giving it to Vince at this point is pointless.
Let's move on so I can quickly find another reason to hate USC. This sillyness might make me defend them. Then hell will freeze over, pigs will fly and the world will end. And no one wants that.

So you are saying that taking money from an agent made Bush a better player? And that he didn't deserve the trophy if based on athletics because he was paid money by an agent? Sorry, just ain't following that argument.
He lost the trophy because he went outside the rules of the NCAA and accepted much money from an agent. This disallowed him the opportunity to represent the Heisman Trophy. It wasn't Young's ability...so the trophy can't be his.
And to top it all off...Vince Young has already said he didn't want it. Class act from a class guy. Watch and learn grasshopper
Okay, I didn't know Vince Young didn't want it.
In that case, I'll take it and bring it to the Antique Road Show.

So I heard an interview with the Exec Director of the Football Sportswriters, and he seemed to think they were voting for Auburn to take the NC... I LOVE USC & Reggie B!
The Heisman is a glorified popularity contest. Who cares?
Interesting in that it seems the fans of schools that don't have many Heisman winners or many NC winners are the ones that keep saying the awards don't mean anything.
Just saying....

It is kinda funny that every year there are probably 20-30 cfb players that really stand out athletically.
Some play on defense, some play for unranked teams, some are better at their position than the 'winner' but they lack the TV exposure.
The award is great for the 'winner' and the fans of that team.
But everyone else is kinda standing around thinking, "wtf?"
QUOTE(#19):
... but they lack the TV exposure...
It seems whoever gets quality TV exposure gets the trophy. I have a lot of respect for the athletes who are chosen as finalists but I've lost respect for the Heisman process. It's too political and it's influenced by too much media spin and the $$ that go along with that.
I think the the turning point for me was the "LT For Heisman" marketing campaign back in 2000 when Tomlinson was at TCU. Posters, billboards, local TV "specials", coaches lobbying in the media, etc. I have great respect for LT and what he accomplished but I've lost respect for the institutions that market their players like this.
