How long will this one last.

With Favre nothing is certain until the season starts and still no Favre, I'll believe it then. You know Chilly will be paying Favre a visit and teammates will be calling urging him back, it's early yet and he hasn't made enough headlines yet..........LOL

If he does not play between now and January 2014, then I will believe him.

The media needs to ignore this, enough with press conferences etc. We already have a new expression "Pulling a Farve", does he really need more cuddling from ESPN?

Yawn

Maybe the Vikes should think about trading for someone like Marc Bulger?? Espically after all of the horrible reports of QB play comming thus far out of camp. I know he's already been signed this offseason but this is a win big and win now team. I think he would be a great fit and he will be protected (something he has NEVER known).

wow... he's announced he's retiring. how original of him. is he sick or something??? we all know he will be playing in that last preseason game and starting the season opener. you'd think he'd figure out that the world does not revolve around his decision.... kinda like lebron LOL.

This gives Joe Theismann an opening. But, I don't think Favre is really, really, really serious. I think he'll be back sometime this year. Plus, he's got other income possibilities...........like teaching Albert Haynesworth how to skip camp and still pass a fitness test.

just about the same time as training camp's over....

Haha that is about right. That agitates me that he won't work out with the team and if I was his teammate I'd be so pissed.

I won't believe it until Week 2.

Rocker He's earned it,He's "OLD",and needs too just go thru the basics before regular season begins,I see Chilldress on His hands and knees getting Brett too say"Yes"......

If the rookies have to go through hazing the vets should at least show up to camp. I agree he's accomplished a lot, but if he can't make it through training he shouldn't be on the field.
