MMA  > Fight Club  > Was the contract dispute strategically planned?

Amazing how Dana White and the UFC manage to consume the headlines right before and/or during another promotion's time to shine. This time, it was Strikeforce that suffered. While White & Co. argued and cursed for less than 24 hours, many seemed to forget that "Strikeforce: Destruction" was right around the corner.

Was White's timing with the contract dispute coincidental, or do you think he planned this all along?
