Washington State.
The chasm between WSU and the rest of the Pac 10 is Grand Canyon wide.
However, I think the Cougs have some fight in them under Paul Wulff, and will win a conference game or 2 this year.
WSU @ ASU - WSU win
Cal @ WSU - WSU win
Ohio St vs Miami.
tOSU is preseason #1 in some polls, but what about week 2?
Miami returns a slew of Jr's and Sr's. Add experienced QB, Jacory Harris, plus years of frustration ....
Miami @ Ohio State - Miami win
Ole Miss @ Alabama
For Alabama, this game is sandwiched between tough road games @ S. Carolina and @ Tennessee.
Ole Miss and possible new QB, Masoli, will have 2 wks to prepare.
I give the mobile Masoli the edge vs a young Alabama defense.
Ole Miss @ Alabama - Ole Miss win
No specific games, but I think Miss State will surprise a lot of folks this year. Really excited about what Mullen is doing and in the QBs they now have....
ND will go 8-4 but will be a much better team and poised for a return to ND standards in 2011.
Two non-AQ schools will go undefeated again and both will end up in BCS games (my gut feel here is BSU and Utah).
WVU will have a real hard time getting up to play LSU when the NCAA is on them like white on rice.
Big games at home, Ohio State has struggled recently, I think they dont this year. Miami plays well early, but the physical nature of the Bucks, frustration from the Canes, and 100k plus rowdy fans get to em. This ain't the ACC, and these want to punish them. Go Bucks, 35-14.
While I will not predict a USCe win in the Swamp, it will be a tough game that goes down to the wire.
An East division win there by the Gamecocks could be the tie-breaker that they would need to snitch the East title out of the Gator's jaws, if both end up 5-1.
QUOTE(#9):
Arkansas will take the SEC West.
Good luck with a defense that Chris Low ranks last in the SEC, tied with Vandy.
Arizona takes the Pac-10 in a tiebreaker over USC and Oregon.

Not to mention that would have to happen in a league known for being won by teams with dominating defenses.
But I will say that O looks pretty badass if Mallett lives up to his potential.

Bah, ARK 2010 will be a repeat of Ole Miss 2009.

I think it will be a lot tighter than 35-14. Miami is a much better team than they get credit for. Lots of injuries last year and were actually a play away from winning two or three games last season.
This year we have depth on both O and D line as well as many other positions we didnt have last season due to injury. Probably why we struggled in the second half of games. I think to underestimate them would be unwise for tOSU.
IMHO I think they have the potential to win at the shoe.

8-10 points seems a whole lot more reasonable. You really think Tressel and TP can dial up 35 on a good defense? I would say 24-10 or 17-7 is a lot more likely.

3 point game either way. You heard it here first.

If the Canes can get that "us against the world" mentality working for them, and play mostly mistake-free ball, I'm with MoJo -- they might take that one.

Look closely, MoJo - I said "might" take that one, and that's with a pair of big if's.
Now I like a nice big pair of if's usually...if you know what I'm sayin'...but there's a difference here unfortunately.
