Fish, I feel your pain. Unfortunately, another thread has captured eveyone's attention, "What USA soccer stadium serves the best hotdog?"
ESPN poker erases all interest in soccer followed by all star curling from Uganda. Div I men's soccer kicks off on Sept 3. There is a tourney of elites in Santa Barbara mostly from the ACC. There is no sign of TV unless the curling is postponed due to lack of tea. I recommend to you NCAA.com, Div I Men's Soccer Blog. It is pretty informative and maybe from there you can find some pertinent links.
I think this deficit in TV coverage is a real shame. As with NCAAF, the NCAAS is a feed to the pros - in this case not only the MLS, but worldwide leagues. Media coverage is critical and so is FIFA input to focus on the skills and strategy of the game and perhaps permit a few more goals..............Easier said than done. Good luck! Keep us advised about what you find.
Thanks Linesman...I have since found the NCAA blogs. They seem to tell me more than I used to know. I feel like I'm stranded on a desert island.
