NFL  > Cleveland Browns  > Good to see Hardesty is back.

I'm not expecting to see too much of our second round running back this weekend, but it would be nice to see what the buzz has been about when he was in OTA's. I'm just glad that he is on the comeback trail; of course, the pressure is on now for James Davis and Chris Jennings to show something to the coaches in order to make this team.

Don't expect to see much of him at all. Hardesty has bad knees and injurs for the past few years. His knees can't take the wear & tear of the N.F.L. I hope I'm wrong but it'll be another wasted second round pick. This has nothing to do with the so called curse seeing how they knew about his injury problems when they picked him thats why the rest of the N.F.L. pasted on him. By the way Hillis should be starting.

They will all have to be super studs to steal playing time away from Hillis. I think this falls under "What Have You Done For Me Lately".

Hillis will get plenty of touches this season...however this is still preseason. Hillis and Vickers have been slamming pads into everyone, so their jobs are relatively safe. Living in GA, I don't get all the coverage for the rest of the team. I've never scene Hardesty run with the Brown and Orange on, so I guess I was looking for some feedback. He should get some reps against da'Bears. And plenty of kids come out of college with injuries, so you don't have to be such a debbie downer. Go Browns!

That's Debbie with a capitol "D"! Lol. No, I am totally with you on this one. Last year I was looking forward to Davis being tutored by Lewis, and was very disappointed not to see him play.

I don't agree with those that write Hardesty off because of past injuries. I would love to see him show his stuff.

We do have quite a stable of RB's, but I don't think we can keep them all, just like I don't see how we can carry 4 QB's. I guess we will know next week.

It's going to be a tough call for James Davis and Chris Jennings, but I think that they will keep Davis simply for the fact that he has been really active with the special teams. If Jennings has been donating time there too, he's been invisible.

"What have you done for me lately," Shouldnt that be applied to Jerome Harrison's end of the 09' season? I can agree that Hillis and Vickers have set themselves up to make a difference this regular season after seeing their knock-around-guys type of attitude this preseason. I just think at the end of the season last year Harrison proved himself as one of the leagues most productive backs. Whether he can remain on top and stay healthy remains to be seen, although I find it patrony to be mentioning EVERY other back on the browns depth chart and no one even mentioning harrison.

Dude, it's preseason and this post was about Hardesty. Harrison has a spot on the team. We've been talking about the "other" guys.

Well, crap...guess I'll put the final nail in this thread...keep it in my back pocket for next year...if there is a 2011 season.
