MMA  > General MMA  > Strikeforce San Jose: Diaz vs. Noons II

Doesn't it seem like every thing Strikeforce does its 1 step forward 2 steps backward.

Diaz vs Noons prob be a great fight both guys are good strikers........... But they could of built up some hype with a catch weight bout with Diaz fighting Jason Mayhem Miller. All you need is for them to talk smack in the media and maybe you get some of the ufc fans that don't watch non Fedor strikeforce cards. Which would mean better ratings.

Also that night they are going to have a "tournament designed to crown a new number one contender for the Strikeforce Middleweight Championship. Which is a fail. I think you know why.

I like this fight. But I was also rooting for the Diaz & Mayhem fight, for the obvious reasons.

but on a step back, i think it is wise what they are doing.
Mayhem will not go away, and Diaz is not one to shut up neither. So they will continue their verbal assault and still build up for a fight eventually.

Meanwhile, the most important for SF, they are giving as much time as possible to get away from the reason Diaz & Mayhem are talking about a fight in the first place (which is the brawl inside the cage). They probably took a hit when the brawl happened, the last thing they probably want is to bring it back again.

But let Diaz & Mayhem talk smack, and then the reason why it started becomes irrelevant.

I see Diaz winning this one at this point in their careers. Plus...

I'd rather see Diaz vs Miller considering all the recent smack talk.
