MLB  > San Francisco Giants  > Loser-itis

If it's not one thing its another. One minute they don't have enough hitting power and the next excuse is that the pitchers are worn out. Maybe their young pitching staff needs a better off-season training regime.

ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE GIANTS .....OR....THE BRAVES!....THE BRAVOS CAN'T DO **** RIGHT NOW

October 2, 2010  05:25 AM ET

My worst possible fear just arose. The Giants with a 3 game lead over the Padres with 3 games to go and the Giants needing to win only 1 of their next 4 games to win the NL West. The Padres who have been spinning out of control all of September and have blown a 6.5 game lead they held over the Giants appear to have knocked themselves out of the MLB playoff picture. Then the cocky Bay Area commentators put the curse on the Giants by saying there is no way the Giants can lose 4 in a row to San Diego. It is now October so what happens on the first day of October? The Giants lose 6-4 with their supposed strongest pitcher Matt Cain. Do the Giants have October-itis? Willie Mays. please say" it ain't so."

The young Giant team showed the world they wouldn't buckle under pressure. In Monterey CA the bars are going crazy. The Giants right now are the pride of the Bay Area. Go Giants.
