Even though we lost our season opener to the #12 Wisconsin Badgers, we played a good clean game!! Way to go Rebels!

Quote 1 totally uncalled for and down right mean.

We played well. We were the cupcake in that game. Next up is the Utes, that won't be any easier Pitt couldn't get it done in that madhouse.

**ignores commenter #1*No doubt....did you go to the game? We were sitting about 6 rows up from the field at about the 10 yard line (right where the interception happened), on the home side. There were aboutr 6 Badger fans right behind us that were totally obnoxious, so everytime the Rebs did something good, we would stand up and wave our big Rebel flag right in front of them! LOL! They left towards the end of the first half and never came back! The Utes won't be easy at all. Neither will West Virginia, TCU or BYU.

Sorry about that rude greeting. This board gets a lot of spammers making threads, so "hey look at my link" posts often get a rough reception.

Tough draw for UNLV right off the bat with a team that is going to challenge for the Rose Bowl. A new coach usually provides a lot of optimism so it sounds like the Rebel fans had a great time, despite the score.

308 posts should indicate that it is not a spammer....and the post was most rude.

That being said, welcome dude or dudette....I take it you are a UNLV fan....I will try to ignore that and treat you nice - at least for now. :)

Did you see the ESPN commercial about the "Ole MIss" campaign to make Admiral Ackbar the official Rebel mascot?

Clever... and it would seem to give Miss St. fans a great reason to mock the "other' Rebels.

I stopped going to games in September a long time ago, too hot. I'll make it out to 1 or 2 this year not sure which ones.
I am going to The Big House on November 6th, that is got all my attention right now, got the tickets now looking for a reasonable Hotel and not finding one. Not like around here, found a Days Inn for $140 a night, ouch! On the upside end zone seats were only $55.00 very reasonable.

Yes...I was hoping for that one, but he didn't make the final cut to 5....Tin Man is suggesting The Spinsters....think that is a keeper as well
