And while they're at it, they can fire Alex Barron too. Oh yeah, and Wade Phillips....
Yeah, the guys father is named Bum.
In reality though you are stuck with what you have for the season. Changing OC or DC after the 1st game is suicidal. Firing the head coach right now just puts more pressure on your OC or DC whomever takes up HC duties.
You should have fired the staff back in January and gotten Shanahan. Too late now.
Wade is a softy but when he took over the Defense he got them turned around.
Lets fire #71 along with Garrett too!
* #71--he who shall not be named!! What an inept tool!

Having said that, that was a pathetic performance last night. You guys will do nothing but improve.
How things change.. I mean wasn't Jason Garrett in quite a few talks for head coaching gigs a few years back. Quite a few people should be run out of town for the Washington game, but there are still 15 games.
Wade - You kneel with 4 seconds in a half and no realistic chance for a TD.
Choice - What were you thinking.. just fall down, you have 0 chance of scoring..
Barron - A young Flozell.. not much more..

Hue Jackson, Tom Cable, and Paul Hackett might be available pretty soon. As long as Al can still drool, Raidah coaches need to be on their toes and keeping up-to-date resumes.
Ripper if you haven't already you need to visit this Raider Hater site setup by a Charger fan.
Just google raider hater and it takes you right there, chargertom.com, there is some really funny stuff.
Of course how hard is it to make fun of Raiders fans in full makeup?
Maybe they should have let him go when everyone thought he was the **** a couple years ago. He just sort of looks pathetic now. It is just one game so maybe he can turn it around, but seems like last couple years his 'abilities' have been in decline.

100% agree.... but JJ is too stubborn and shanahan likely wouldn't have worked for him. it is a mess, but it's only game 1. there is still hope.... dallas can still have a great year, they just need to get the offense going. the question is.... can anyone on the staff do this???

This tool of an Offensive Coordinator is a pox on this team. I hold him in such contempt it is immeasurable. He has not imagination, is more predicitable than death and taxes and as long as he has the controls on the offensive season the Cowboys will struggle.
Slow down there big fella...
Dallas had the #2 offense in ALL, I repeat ALL of the NFL last season.
Garrett is a good coordinator, he just got too aggressive and we paid for it dearly.
If you break down the game film, he had some great calls against some of the coverages they were throwing at us.
Just because a play is executed poorly, or pass protection breaks down, or a player drops the ball, that does not fall on him.
Dallas will lose 5-6 games this season due to their schedule...this was one of them.

Jeff,
you are the voice of reason and are correct but I still feel I need to vent. You have your facts correct but I feel that Garrett is not using his assets at 100% effectiveness. I live in DC (military obligation, true Texan) and the Radio Talk Show guys were appalled that Dallas left the running game when it seemed to be working (4.7 yds/attempt); I think it was like 47 passes, 22 rushes? Garret seems to out-smart himself, hey if they can't stop it keep using it until they stop it. It's not about appeasing TO anymore, the distribution means nothing, the scoreboard is what is important. I agree with you on the final tally of Ws and Ls, 12-4 is super, 11-5 good, 10-6 your "in". Let's see how it ends.
But in the mean time.......FIRE JASON GARRETT....

Dallas had the number 2 offense in yards gained but they were like 13th in scoring. Last time I looked, the game is won by the team scoring the most points, not amassing the most yards. That game against the Redskins was a perfect example. Dallas led in every category... first downs, total yards, time of possession...everything that is except the category that matters most...points. The Dallas offense scored ONLY 7 POINTS! In the Divisional playoff game against Minnesota they scored, what, three points? Yeah, that's a really high-powered offense the Red-Headed idiot has created.
The Cowboys averaged 27 ppg in 2007 with a creampuff schedule, a new quarterback and a new OC. The last two seasons, they have averaged only 22 ppg.
Garrett was given the OC job by JJ and Wade was/is forced to keep him and let him run the offense. His salary is about the same as Wades and it's pretty obvious that he answers to JJ and not wade. That's a recipe for failure in itself.
Garrett has a track record of trying to get cute in the red zone, thus the lack of scoring. Whether it passing three times from the one yard line or attempting a RB pass from the six yard line, he finds ways to fail. With three competent backs, he refuses to consistently run the ball, even when the run is successful.
He needs to go but that ain't gonna happen...not this year and probably not as long as JJ has the reins of the team.
That joke that started in camp last season is still appropriate for this team: How are the Cowboys and the Video Board at Cowboy's stadium alike? They both look good between the 20 yard lines. 'Nuff said.
You are right guys...they were 13th last year in scoring...due in part to penalties, missed FG's and Red Zone opps that were not turned into Td's.
Dallas did get into the Red Zone 3 times during that game, missing 1 FG, getting a penalty on the last drive and a TD on another.
Garrett showed a nice playfake that was executed perfectly and they scored on it.
I do agree, Garrett needs to balance out the team more when things are working, although a lot of the discrepancy in pass to run attempts came at the end when Romo had to throw on that last drive and he attempted like 10-12 passes on that one drive alone.
Toss in the multiple holding penalties that was forcing long 1st down chances, in which we had to throw more too.
Anyway, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just think we need to relax on firing Garrett for now...lol...
Trust me, if they do not produce improvement over last season, Wade and Garrett will both be gone at season's end, in favor of an entirely new coaching team.

Can we get Irvin back rather than R. Williams? Even an old Irivin would be better I think....

I One Thousand percent agree. FIRE JASON GARRET. His play calling is a joke, why in the poodles Crap are you doing trick plays in the first game of the season. He is reaching, and I am tired of it. He needs to go. Poof, be gone!!!! Everybody gets fired but Jason. If Al Davis is thinking about firing His head coach, then Jerry should be pondering firing Jason Garret.
Well my list is this, Jason Garret, Roy Williams, Mr. No name no 71, Brady James, and I would give Wade until the seventh game, primarily because he has the defense playing great. Lastly, StOP starting Barber over Jones. We need balance, on the offense, and since Williams is SLOW!!!! put Bryant on the end, and keep williams in the SLOT!!!!!!
Week 2, still the same old same ol.....51 passes, 18 rush attempts, loads of yards +400, few points, another loss. Can we still put the "ginger's" head on a pike?
